  • To promote adoptions of shelter-bound pets.

  • To improve the condition and outcome of pets in shelters in counties around South Carolina.

  • To reduce the number of pets consigned to shelters by improving the quality of pet adoptions through increased awareness of long-term issues relevant to pet selection.

  • To promote responsible pet stewardship in our state.

The Animal Mission and its board members are committed to public advocacy, community events and public activities that support these goals.
