October 2011 - There were plenty of ghouls, goblins and sexy kittens afoot as supporters of The Animal Mission pulled on their spookiest, scariest, funniest and/or sexiest costume to raise money for spay/neuter and pet welfare in the Midlands.
Columbia's Clarion Town House Hotel was transformed into a "Haunted Hotel" with eerie special effects including a looping video montage with scenes from classic horrors flicks, flickering candles, canisters filled with "eye balls" and vintage hotel decor. The event featured a costume contest with a $1,000 prize, food, drinks and great entertainment including Janie Metts, The MoBros and Hot Lava Monster plus some surprise visits from celebrities from “the other side” including Marilyn Monroe, Lucille Ball, Elvis and others.
